I couldn't ignore this bride's plea for help ... her photographer was MIA just weeks before her wedding day, and she was urgently trying to find someone good on short notice. Since they were out of state, I did not have a chance to meet with them beforehand, so I was delighted when the bride said to "just look for the redhead in a white dress."
Now, I have to tell you that I have a special place in my heart for redheads. My best friend from first grade is a redhead. My best friend in 6th grade was a redhead. My best friend and roommate in college is a readhed, and my best friend now is a redhead. So, you can see why I was really excited to shoot this wedding!
Does she not have the most gorgeous hair you've ever seen?
They are so sweet on each other. He had us (my assistant and I) laughing so hard during the formals, I'm surprised we got anything in focus. Totally Steve Martin.
First dance. I love this shot.
Father-daughter dance. Gets me every time. This time, I completely cried right along with all of the guests.
Their gorgeous baby, who slept peacefully through the ceremony.
